Parents, here are a few more updates for the mid-week. These are important. Read them all!
- Boosters get into the Football game free only if they are working it! Those wearing orange booster shirts (potato sales, potato deliverers, uniform workers, pit pops, or chair pad removers) can be admitted for free at the football game if they are wearing their booster shirt. Please go to the LGHS facilities person who is monitoring the double-wide "Service Gate" to the left of the ticket office. That person will let you in. Please do not go through the admission gate with the spectators and ask to be let in for free--it confuses the gate people, plus the other spectators do not like to hear that someone is getting in for free after they have just spent time waiting in line. If you are not working the game, please buy a ticket.
- Italy Trip Meeting moved to Thursday, 12/3. (It was previously 12/2) Our mandatory meeting for students going on the trip (plus one parent/student) and all adult participants will be held on Thursday, December 3, 7-8:30pm, in the Los Gatos HS Library.
- If you are going to Italy, you need to have your passport done by the 12/3 meeting!!! That means get your passports NOW. Get two (2) passport photos and a color copy of your passport.
- EVERYONE must turn in two (2) passport photos and a color copy of your passport showing that the
passport is valid through October 17, 2010. These documents will be kept in the hotel safes and will be
returned to you after the trip. The two photos and color copy of passport is due by December 3 meeting.KI Concerts needs our passport info by 12/9, so we won't have a lot of time to hunt down anyone that hasn't turned theirs in on time.
- EVERYONE must turn in two (2) passport photos and a color copy of your passport showing that the
- State and County Honor Band tryouts are coming up! State Honor Band tapes and fee are due Nov 30 to Mr. Fortino, and County Honor Band auditions are Dec 11 at San Jose State. These are two excellent opportunites for your student to show their true musical mettle.
- There is still chocolate to be sold. We have received additional boxes of chocolate, so the sales can continue. Students can pick up chocolate and drop off monay after practices and after the football game this Friday.
- Christmas Tree Pickups! The Christmas tree pickup can earn your student significant money towards his Band fees. If you're interested, the sign up sheet is outside Mr. Fortino's office.
